We stopped at this restaurant because it had a nice outdoor seating area. Our waiter, Bill, was the best who prides himself in his work. The food was delicious and the Bloody Mary's even better.
Our hats off to Pasta Beach in Boston.

Nice atmosphere. Good wine list. Be careful when ordering dessert if your server speaks only Italian. We ended up with three...and thought we ordered one! But it was fun!

Very nice pizza and pasta restaurant. Efficient staff and nice surroundings. Great pudding - chocolate tartuffo with del saronno - you must try this!

Although the food is good, the location is better, especially in the summer when you can sit outside. My friends and I enjoyed our meal and the service was good. A bit crowded for the space, unless you sit outside when weather permits.

Pasta Beach, its odd and incongruous name notwithstanding, has the best Italian food at reasonable prices that I've had in Boston. The decor is clean and simple, and the food is good. Boston is littered with overrated Italian eateries that really are not worth the trip to the North End or wherever else they are squirreled away (a couple of real plodders in Beacon Hill, some in the suburbs). To be fair there are a handful of much fancier Italian places spread out over the Metro area (ie. NOT in the North End) that are good, but going to them is such a production that the quotidian qualities of Italian cuisine are lost in the process. It is very, very difficult to get a good Italian meal in Boston without fuss, and at a good price, but Pasta Beach shows that it is not impossible! Parking in the Rowes Wharf garage is validated so that you only pay $8 (the full sum used to be covered, but it is still a deal).
