“Should have gone with Boston Duck Tours”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2013

Have taken Boston Duck Tours a couple of times and they are run much better and are more professional than Boston Super Tours. The experience with the ticketing agent and the bus driver could have been better. The whole process was very disorganized. At times it seemed like we were an inconvenience for the driver. However, the sights we passed by were interesting so it kind of made up for the hiccups at the start, but still slightly embarrassing considering I was with out of town relatives.

“Don't waste money, use another tour company”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2013

My family and I are from Florida and decided for our yearly Christmas vacation we would come to Boston, having never been here before. We chose this tour company and we quickly regretted it. Our very first tour guide talked about his art work hobby and sounded bitter about how every parking lot in the city was soon to be turned into another building. Halfway through the stops, he said "the other bus would probably be better for you guys." We literally got kicked off of the bus! We were the only 3 on, but he didn't give us any other reason than "the other bus would be better for you." Are you serious? Yesterday, we were informed that the trolleys would stop picking up at 4 p.m. We went to the Boston Massacre site and was back at the trolley stop by 3:30. When no one showed up by 4, we called the company and they said that the trolleys had stopped running and would ATTEMPT to contact one of the trolleys to see if they could do a "mercy pickup" for us. It was 30 min before the time! Our first tour guide today said, and I quote "if you guys are done talking now, I'll begin telling you a little bit about Boston," no smile, no laugh, he was dead serious. Then, we were dropped off in Harvard Square to go to the museum. We were told that there would be a trolley every 20-30 minutes. We were in the museum about an hour. We came back to the stop. After an hour and 13 minutes of waiting and 5 phone calls to the company later, a trolley finally came to pick us up. The worst thing is that the 5th time we called, the lady who kept answering the phone prior, sent us to voicemail. Mind you, it was 9 degrees outside and snowing. Every phone call we made in that hour and 15 minutes, it was the same lady who answered and said "he's in between the Galleria and Harvard Square," or "he's 4 blocks away," "No, we can't look up where he is," "Oh yes, according to our GPS he's only a few minutes away." Like the title says, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND USE ANOTHER TOUR COMPANY!

Great tour of Boston with ex University Book shop owner Steve.great descriptions and stories ,made the City's history come to life.
Sadly the bus suddenly needed a new exhaust converter, we took a food break and Jon Cotton took over, who was good in a different way in bringing in the influence of England and Continental History.
Loved the experience despite the snow and look forward to tomorrow.

“Rain Drops Keep Falling”

Because of it being such a rainy day in Boston on Sunday, December 1, 2013 we decided to take the trolley and duck tours. Our first driver was Cory who was informative and drove us to the duck tour. Mike and Mike were our tour guides for this portion. Thoroughly enjoyed that portion of the tour. We sure didn't know what was in store for us next as we boarded the trolley again. Rob was our new tour guide. Two thumbs up for Rob!! He was the most entertaining tour guide we have ever experienced. He provided a very informative and entertaining tour! I would strongly suggest seeing Boston this way and try to get on Rob's trolley!

“Boston tour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2013

An excellent and informative way to see Boston and learn something of its history in a short space of time. We did the full tour then stayed on to "hop off" at Fenway Park. As a result of comments made during the tour, we had an enjoyable meal in Union Oyster Bar and a short sail around the harbour. Excellent.
