I just returned from a 2 night stay at this architecturally stunning Victorian row house in Boston's South End. Ben and Jane make you feel extremely welcome in their home from the time you arrive. I was traveling alone, and was in the city to visit my daughter. The towels were plush, the bed comfortable, and the shared bathroom worked well. A room air conditioner kept the space cool during one warm night. I loved the breakfast selections, and looked forward to Ben's fresh squeezed orange juice. Ben and Jane are great ambassadors for their city and gave great suggestions for activities (solstice concerts) and restaurants. The area is an arts mecca, with the Boston Center for the Arts around the corner. The Back Bay T stop is a short walk, and Copley Square is a 10-15 minute walk.I cannot wait to plan my next visit.

Spent two nights in this beautiful home, room on the top floor back bedroom, no other guests so had the bathroom to ourselves - big plus. Ben and Jane made us feel like friends and provided useful information on roaming the city sights. Very central either for walking to Copley Square, Newbury Street, bus to Cambrige or T at Back Bay. Would highly recommend and would stay here again if visiting Boston.

Friendly hosts, accomodating, very nice historic home. Neighborhood is very pretty and close to Back Bay Amtrak and T station and 10 minute walk to Copley Square. Enjoy the surroundings and the nice hosts.

Room Tip: Remember you have to walk up the stairs 2-3 flights, so take that into account if you have difficulty with stairs.

A beautiful, comfortable house in a great location. Jane and Ben were kind, very helpful, and provided a great breakfast every morning. It was much better than a hotel because of the level of comfort and the kindness of the hosts. Highest of recommendations.

We stayed for one week at the end of October, start of November. The house is just lovely. A beautiful airy town house full of lovely furniture and interesting artefacts. We were on the top floor, back room in a spacious, light, warm room. So cosy. We were so pleased we chose this B&B rather than a standard hotel.
Breakfast was plentiful. A choice of cereals and pastries, fruit, and just help yourself from the fridge! Excellent coffee and orange juice. Sometimes Ben joined us at breakfast which was an extra treat. He is an interesting, thoughtful man.
South End is a lovely area. We liked to walk round looking at the houses and the little green spaces. It's also easy walking distance to many interesting sites, and to the subway. We felt completely safe walking about at night too.
However the best thing was that we were there for Hurricane Charlie and for Halloween. Jane and Ben were so kind, inviting us to dinner because everywhere was closed because of the hurricane, and also then inviting us to join them for trick and treating on their front step. Their hospitality exceeded expectations by a long way.
Jane and Ben are a wonderful couple, incredibly interesting and generous.

Room Tip: Quiet area so I don't think noise would be a problem in any room. Rooms not en-suite but two a good sized bathroom on each floor where there are bedrooms.
