After a long day of sight-seeing, my family of four waited about 45 minutes for a table - which seemed long for a Monday night, but perhaps was not surprising given the reputation of the restaurant and the tourist season that was upon us. We considered giving up, but other well reviewed restaurants in the area had lines at least as long that seemed to be moving more slowly. We certainly were glad we waited it out! From fresh, well seasoned salads to savory sauces on our beautifully prepared chicken entrees and pastas, the food was delicious, as was the chardonnay and cabernet that we ordered. And the prices were quite reasonable. What added to the experience was the efficiency of the service, despite the crowd, and the personal touch of the manager (owner?) who graciously apologized for our wait, and among other things, asked us where we were from and how we enjoyed our meal. He seemed genuinely concerned. Next time we'll book a reservation.
