The W has proven again that style and elegance are the cornerstone of any hotel stay. Boston has always been one of my favorite places to visit. The W has added to that experience.

Excellent service. Bellhops and elevator attendants were respectful and quick to act at every opportunity to assist. None of them dared look me in the eye. Good. I can't stand that kind of insolence. Well done W management team.

All this time I thought eye contact was a good thing! Nevertheless, I'm glad that we tailored our approach to your expectations - that's the goal. See (sort of!) you soon.

I was here for a work trip in late September. Kudos to the staff here. All of the little things that made my stay that much better. The room was quite spacious for a city hotel. The Bliss products too were amazing. Great location, although since it's near the theater district and a bunch of bars, it was a bit loud at night - nothing the hotel can control though. A trade off to be sure.

I got an email last Thursday, October 17th for the grand opening of Tunnel at W Boston.
It said it was free to get in before midnight, so I went to see what it was all about.
You walk in, down 3 flights of stairs, and there was Tunnel.
It really did look look and feel like you were indeed in a Tunnel. Long and narrow.
Cool atmosphere, lights all above you etc.
DJ booth - was good music
3 private ladies bathrooms
There were VIP tables set up - but no one sitting at them

They are charging $20 cover - wouldn't pay that price just to get in here though.

For the grand opening, it wasn't that busy.
Honestly, probably like 50 people in there tops.
The drinks weren't that expensive for Boston.
I think my Belevedere and tonic was $9.

Thanks for submitting the first review of Tunnel, Danielle! It's a really cool space and we're happy to have Tunnel join the W Boston complex. Come see for yourself!

Service. Polite and fast, concierge seemed to know the city well.
Rooms. Wonderful room. Spacious, nicely decorated. Good shower, no handset. Little street noise, street view.
Lobby bar is popular in theather show nights. Good coctails served.
Closeby chinatown & theather districts. Lively area.
Breakfast at the hotel is poor, I highly recommend trying Mike & Patty's close to the hotel. Best sandwiches in town!

Thanks for the props, LittleFox77. Our Concierges know all the hottest spots so I recommend that all guests stop by for the inside scoop. Market is a great spot for breakfast, dinner, and drinks but we dig Mike & Patty's too. See you again soon.

W Boston is centrally located and walking distance from many historical sights. The hotel is vintage W with a contemporary decor in common area's and in the guest rooms. The room layouts are a bit awkward and inefficient, however the floor to ceiling windows bring in naural light and great city views if on an upper floor. The staff is very friendly and accomodating when possible.Room upgrades for Platinum Guest happen about 1/2 the time. Valet Parking is rediculously expensive so self park if you have the time to walk a couple of blocks.
Overall, a very nice Hotel.

Room Tip: Request a junior suite or a corner room on a higher floor

Really enjoyed our stay. Easy walk to Boston Commons, Back Bay, Northend and Southend.

Close to the subway (known as "the T") so we could get around town and to the airport. Also close to theaters and shopping.

Our fifth floor room didn't have a view but it was big.

Wi-fi worked perfectly. (Free for SPG Gold or higher status.)

Jenny, who checked us in was terrific and called when our room was ready.

We'd definitely return!
