I have stayed at several W across the country and this property is not up to that standard. Rude staff and a poor loud room does not bring value. The cocktail staff in the lounge walked past my table five times before even acknowledging that someone was there. The room had noise from some sort of internal project at 1:00am and also got noise from other rooms flushing toilets. Do not spend your money at this property

Starwoods Properties are usually well managed, and this hotel is no exception. The staff is attentive, and the location is very good. Close to the T and the Commons, so really everything you need. There is a 24 hour fitness area, but no pool if that is important to you. Bliss products are always a plus to staing at a W. Overall, a great place to stay in Boston.

Room Tip: Rooms are the street side can be noisey, but with your a/c on you can drown it out.

Attentive Talent, great location and the best Bliss amenities (and Spa!). Oh, right, and NO POOL. But we know where the best ones in the city are…

I stayed 5 nights at the W in Boston. Very nice room with a modern touch. Great service from the staff from start to finish. There was a small mistake on my room service order one night and the employee even took the time to write me a hand written note of apology with a bowl of cookies. That was a nice gesture. Staff also gave great advice in Boston, including that the run down tavern down the street actually has the most incredible hamburger in the city. Good hotel for both business and tourism.

The W Hotel in Boston was the perfect location for my recent for day stay. I was in town for a conference and found the clean and crisp hotel was the perfect antidote to my "talk filled" days. The room was small, but comfortable for one person and I loved the complimentary products from Bliss Spa. The lowest priced rooms do not come with in-room coffee makers, but you can ask for one, if you need to. I just hopped across the street to SBux when I need my morning caffeine fix. In room dining service is expensive.

The one strange thing about the room was that the television got horrible reception. The colors were off and some channels really didn't come in at all.

If you are traveling for business or pleasure, the W is a safe bet for a clean and comfortable room.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms above the 4th floor. The street noise can be a bit much.

Fair enough. Here's a minor clarification - none of our rooms have coffee makers but you correctly noted that all you need to do is ask and we will deliver one to you. And generally, our 42" LG flat screens get awesome reception but I will look into why yours didn't. Sorry for that but hope to see you again soon.

The W Hotel in Boston has a great location and the room we had was large and very nice. We had a corner room on the 9th floor. It was fairly noisy from the traffic outside and being in the theater district it was a little louder than most places. They have a great Bar in the lobby and the restaurant. The drinks are very good. The lobby bar is more hip and loud and the restaurant bar was quiet and the bartenders were great!

We frequently stay at W's when we travel. This our second time staying at the W Boston and we had another good experience. Check-in was relatively quick, and our room on the 15th floor was surprisingly large. Location is convenient to two T lines (Green and Orange) and also to Boston Common. We'll stay again the next time we are in Boston.

My first impression of W Hotel was in Hong Kong and had fantastic experience.
This time we stayed at W Boston for 3 nights in room 426 and found this W, not up to par. Carpet in the room is very dirty, I'm not so sure when is the last time they do vacuum cleaning, and lot of dusts on the wall which easily spot on dark colored wall.
The great impression on entry in Hong Kong is not experienced here. Location is great, and the pub lounge is good experience, but I believed based on price tag you can find better just around the corner

I will be putting off this brand for a while.... no consistency at all!!
