Ate at the downtown restaurant on a Saturday night. Great atmosphere, service and food. Bit crowded, but there was lots happening in town. Had the tuna burger - yummy! Daugher had the mac and cheese and it was the best she's ever had! Fun place!

On a recent trip to Boston we went to Max and Dylans twice. On both occasions we were made to feel very welcome. The staff are skilled in knowing the right balance of attentive and over attentive. The bar is light and stocks a good selection of Boston beer, and you can try before you buy. I had a wonderful pumpkin ale - we were in town around Halloween.....The bar staff were knowledgeable and friendly. It appears to be a post work hang out, as it got quite busy around 1700/1800hrs. The second visit, we had lunch upstairs. Again a good experience with well cooked and presented food in a light and airy space. Will visit again when I make another return to my favourite US City!

Bright and airy with a relaxed atmosphere. We were a group of six and all the dishes looked delicious. I had the Mac & Cheese (a specialty), but the scallops looked scrumptious. I want to go back to try them!!! Varied menu to suit all tastes and although not the cheapest, I would say it's good value for money as the portions are generous.

Family of 12 avoided many detours in our quest to go to this restaruant, but it was worth it! Reasonably priced, with a selection of food for all ages! Good variety of meat nd fish and the kids selections of mac and cheese, chicken etc. Desserts were easy to share as pieces were large and delicious!

a great location just over the bridge and right on the freedom trail makes this place a good stop if you are doing the trail mid morning. You will need to fuel up for Bunker hill or just after anyway!

The brunch at the weekend is now a single price buffet for all you can eat and the food was good for this type of service. once you move out of the main part of the city the stops for drinks and food on the trail ar elimited so this place could really fill up.

Great service and a nice decor lift the place above a cafe as well.
