The Green Turtle was a great place to get away from life and spend time as newlyweds. Our room was incredible and the view was amazing. Jon and Karen made us feel like family and they offered their expertise on how to get around Boston; which is not an easy task.

Karen and Jon are friendly, accommodating hosts who anticipate what the traveler might need or want. The suite included an ulta-comfy bed, kitchen area (already stocked with water, juice, and snacks) and bathroom with large shower stall. Breakfast is delivered to the little table just outside the room, with Karen and Jon checking to see what time we wanted breakfast, could accommodate our schedule. They made the bed and switched out towels daily while we were out.
The B&B is close enough to walk to either the free shuttle bus to North Station, to the water shuttle on pier 3 that takes you right to downtown Boston for $1.70 (there were only 5 of us passengers on a recent Tuesday morning shuttle at 9:15, trip is about 10 minutes, drops you right at the same dock to pick up the whale watch tour) or an easy walk to the USS Constitutuion or to Boston's north end/little Italy. The location allowed us to sample a bit of the history and bustle of the city, but still get away to the quiet of the waterfront. And the air conditioning was a godsend and much appreciated during the high 90 degree heat we just experienced! Some gentle rocking of the water, but we were surprised at how quiet the ships were that passed by us with very little wake! Awesome to relax and watch the water traffic and see the Boston skyline from our front door deck, especially pretty lit up at night. We loved our 3 night stay, would return in a heartbeat, and have already recommended the Green Turtle to others as a unique get away spot.

The Green Turtle B&B is an awesome place to stay! The staff was so accomodating and went the extra mile to see that our trip to Boston was memorable. The B&B is ON the water, at the end of the pier. So, you have the opportunity to sit out on the dock in some very comfy chairs and have an unobstructed view of Boston Harbor and the skyline.

The room is very nicely appointed. Had a cute kitchenette and the bathroom was also spacious. I'm a fan of shower pressure and they had plenty of that too!

The B&B is a 10. The owners make it a 12! They were so friendly. We also chartered a fishing trip with one of the owners, Captain Artie. We had a beautiful day on the harbor and really enjoyed that experience.

We will definitely be back to stay there!

Perfect Bed and Breakfast! Loved the location, from the novelty of literally floating on Boston Harbor to the proximity to Boston's North End and Quincy Market.

Jon and Kate were wonderful, making sure our every expectation was met.

The room was very private, beautifully decorated and furnished, and offered all the amenities we needed. A fully stocked kitchenette, a mini fridge with snacks, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the bath, and an iron and ironing board. We had everything we needed and then some!

We absolutely loved it and will definitely plan to return and recommend to others.

What a wonderful experience this was. Karen and the gang were very helpful and went out of their way to make us welcome, they passed on information about the local area and how to get around. Always asked how you had enjoyed your day and were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and very homely with lots of helpful information leaflets and brochures. Included in the price was breakfast and lots of other snacks and drinks. IT was very nice sitting on the dock watching the boats go past at the end of a busy day. Could not fault anthing about this little bit of paradise on the river - will definately visit again

We recently spent an entire week at the Green Turtle (1-8 Aug). It truly is an amazing experience. From the awesome owners who make it feel like home to the amazing views from the breakwater dock, it was an unforgettable stay.

Fresh baked goods greet you each morning. The list of items is quite long and is picked up fresh from a local cafe/bakery each morning. We ate breakfast out on the dock everyday, enjoying the beautiful views.

The B&B is ideally located, only a 10 minute walk to the USS Constitution and water taxi to the downtown harbor. My wife and I are avid walkers though and only used the water taxi a few times, preferring to walk all the way down town. This is easily done in 35 mins or so (to Quincy Market).

We walked to north Boston, downtown Financial district, downtown harbor area (aquarium/ market), Boston Commons, China town and finally the fan pier in, I believe, east Boston (over by the courthouse). The furthest place was easily reached in an hour from the Green Turtle.

We would most certainly stay here again if we return to Boston and have wholeheartedly recommended that our friends do the same.

We loved our stay at the Green Turtle and definitely plan to return. The location was great, the innkeepers were lovely, and we had the best nights of sleep we've ever had. We will recommend it to all our friends and family visiting Boston.
