“Cosy apartment, fantastic neighbourhood, great place to stay”

We spent five nights at The Nest in late September, and enjoyed staying in such a lovely home. Pretty much everything was perfect. The location is fantastic and the building was quiet and felt very secure. Comfy bed, loads of storage space for our clothes, fast wifi and the TV has full cable. Loved having the kitchen to prepare our meals.

We had fantastic customer service from start to finish from the owner Paul. We did have one small issue while we were staying - well two actually, a mouse, and a cockroach. But we were really impressed with how Paul handled this, getting the exterminators in immediately, arranging for a deep clean of the apartment, and changing the trash arrangements. We're fully aware that unfortunate incidents like this can happen in city apartments, but based on Paul''s professional handling of the situation, we are sure it is now under control. Given that everything else about our stay was fantastic, we would have no qualms recommending The Nest as a great place to stay in Beacon Hill.

Management Response
Oct 23, 2014
Thank you for taking the time to share a very well-written review.

We discovered a leak behind the bathroom vanity causing undue hidden moisture. All plumbing in the apartment has since been tightened and tweaked.

In the kitchen we indeed replaced the garbage and recyling bins with better designed ones. An exterminator came to work their magic. We also cleaned behind the stove and refrigerator and updated the instructions to better explain waste disposal methods.

Now a month later and four rentals in between, there has been no "activity" sited nor guest commentary.

Feedback is very welcome and truly results in a better apartment experience for all. Thanks again for staying at "the Nest" in Beacon Hill.

“Lovely studio!”

My husband and I booked this lovely studio to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. This was our first time to book through tripadvisor and it was an easy, hassle-free experience. The studio was just as listed, nicely decorated and in a very quiet neighborhood. Paul gave us clear instructions, which made our travel to/from Oklahoma simple and worry-free.

This was our first time in Boston and we had a wonderful time! We enjoyed living like locals at "the Nest," eating and shopping in Beacon Hill. The studio location was perfect and gave us walking or T access to explore the rest of Boston.

Thanks, Paul, for helping us celebrate our 15th anniversary in Boston! We highly recommend "the Nest."

Liked best: location, quiet neighborhood, and style of the studio

“"The Nest" Great Location”
Reviewed June 25, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The Nest is a great place to stay when staying in Boston. Steps from the State House and Boston Commons. The Freedom Trail starts just in front of the State House and the subway stop that we used was also right there.

The Nest was perfect for two people. All the amenties of home (except for a microwave). That would be my only negative note for staying here.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor (45 steps). It would not be recommended for anyone with a disability or has problems walking up steps. The stairway is narrow.

I would highly recommend staying here.

“Refreshing”
Reviewed June 23, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We stayed in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, The Nest was our location. We had no negative experience's with our accommodations in fact Paul and his staff were very pleasant to work with. We highly recommend this location to anyone that would like stay close to everything in Boston.
The only negative thing that happened would be that we should have stayed longer. There is plenty of things to do all around the Boston Area we plan on coming back.
