“Spend a day here just wandering”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

This is the old town. These are the streets that are portrayed in the guide books and on posters when Boston is being promoted. It's picturesque, it's somewhat hilly, it's full of little shops and eating places that charm, appeal and captivate. There are photographs to be snapped everywhere you look. Tree lined cobbled lanes and streets, uneven brick pavements where trees wrench the bricks from under your feet, copper clad bay windows, it's all there. And if like me you cannot resist sea food, then this is an area you will enjoy for sure. If you like to stroll and dawdle as you go into and out of shops, peer in galleries at local art, or just window browse, than a day here is easily eaten up. It's delightful.

There are many beautiful streets with picturesque views, but the best is Acorn street. Find it and get some great photos.

“A Saturday Stroll in Boston”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013

Beacon Hill offers an interesting opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of upper crust Boston, and is a great walk in nice weather. The area known as Beacon Hill is adjacent to Boston Commons, and that's a great place to begin your stroll. Charles Street has a five block section of interesting shops and restaurants that are sure to entice you to purchase or dine. The homes in Beacon Hill are some of Boston's finest, also. Take a stroll in this neighborhood the next time you're in town.
