Owner description: A circle of cobblestones in the street outside the Old State House marks the spot where British soldiers fired on a crowd, the event which many believe was the start of the Revolutionary War.

An historical site which is relatively poorly treated as such. This place deserves more than a simple marker, but that marker is well worth seeing. Try to gain some understanding of what the site is about before going and you will have a better appreciation of what it is all about - or take a tour that includes it (and ask when you get there).

..for a circle in the ground! A plaque with some info would've been nice. Easy to hail taxis from this area, and there's a liquor store jut across the street!

This site was a historical place. The story behind its even better! I highly recommend the tour of the Old State house and to hear about the "massacre."

Again another important piece of American History. Part of the Revolutionary Period preceding the Declaration of Independence.

This is probably the only tourist attraction I've ever seen where you have to dodge traffic to see the actual site. You have to be careful not to become massacred yourself! I recommend it because it's a funny attraction the way it's so poorly implemented.
