Worth visiting when walking the freedom trail. Nice view even from bottom of the monument and nice area to wonder around.

“Must see if if you're a history buff”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

Check this out if your'e in Boston. Short, and interesting, walk from the waterfront. Also, test your knowledge about the significance of Bunker HIll vs. Breeds Hill.

“Mini Washington Monument”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

The monument itself is nothing spectacular. We had to wait about 20 minutes to walk up the 294 stairs to the top. They only let about 20 people in at a time (which is appropriate for how tight a space it is). I can imagine in the summer or peak tourist times, the wait could be pretty long. The view from the top is nice, an interesting take on Boston.

“Great monument but a lot of climbing”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

This is one of the attractions on the Freedom Trail in Boston. You have to climb 294 steps to get to the top. There are no wheelchair access or elevators in the monument. Once you get up to the top you have a great view of Boston. Overall a great attraction to visit while you are on the Freedom Trail.

“Definitely need to see if in Boston.”
Reviewed March 25, 2013 via mobile

This monument is pretty basic but as stated, you really should stop and see it from a historical stand point. Whether or not you decide to climb those God Forsaken steps is something to think about. I climber 75 and turned back since we had walked all day prior to arriving. My husband and son climbed to the top and said the view was awesome. Rangers were great too.
