An excellent collection of New England sports. The entrance was a bit difficult to find, but once inside, we were treated to first class service by the knowledgable staff. Because it's located inside the FleetCenter, we could look out and see the arena itself (the day we visited they were doing a changeover for that evening's Celtics game, so we got a "behind the scenes" view of the bull gang at work).
The museum is not just about the FleetCenter or even Boston. They cover all sports in New England including hockey, football, baseball, basketball, boxing, skating, the Olympics and even bicycle racing. In addition to an extensive collection of artifacts, we were impressed by the artwork including paintings, photography and sculpture.
If you're a long time Boston sports fan you're in for a trip down memory lane; if you're new to the area or a tourist you'll learn a lot about the great heritage of New England sports.
