Description: Charles Draghi and Joan Johnson's highly acclaimed contemporary Italian restaurant and wine bar. With Charles' simple, ever changing menus, rooted in traditional regional Italian cooking, and the best seasonal local ingredients. This restaurant has won numerous awards and kudos from critics, and many loyal guests. Alongside the Italian menus an equally lauded, all Italian wine list, comprised of rare and traditional village wines. The enoteca/wine bar is a cozy and lively meeting place, with its own menu of simple plates and a fun cordial cocktail list.

Our concierge at the Revere Hotel called and booked us a table last minute on a very busy Thursday evening. We were greeted immediately by management and shown to a lovely table immediately. This is a small, wonderful little Italian restaurant with an eclectic flairs. The scallops appetizer was fantastic. My husbands parmesan encrusted steak was delicious and so was my pasta dish. Wonderful food and excellent service. Must dine here, but make a reservation.

Although the menu was extensive with a significant number of specials on offer what disappointed me was the lack of inclusivity re drinks. As a diabetic non-drinker the response that no sugar free soft drinks were available (apart from water) was surprising and disappointing. Apparently Erbaluce creates its own soft drinks. I suggest creating sugar free alternatives or provide soft drink corkage service! For those to whom this is irrelevant I would report on the plus side the food was innovative and well prepared. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed.

Reading these reviews, it is easy to understand the enthusiasm. Although we were not over the moon with our food (we had to send the beef fillet back because it was cooked well done when it was ordered medium rare), we loved the atmosphere and attention. The owner seated us and made the wine recommendation, a wonderful Chianti from Tuscany. The fish and beef were excellent, and an appetizer of carrots, honey, and walnuts was unusually pleasant. It is crowded; my chair was knocked a few times, but the staff are very warm and welcoming. Don't miss this great place!

We went to Erbaluce tonight, we found it last year. I have to write this down before I forget.
Had a lobster minestrone soup, huge chunks of lobster, cannoli beans, carrots, cabbage and fresh cherry tomatoes in a very light broth with a hint of spicy heat. We shared a ravioli stuffed with veal & wild boar. Perfect touch of fresh Parmesan and a veal broth with wild boar prosciutto. Main course was a perfectly roasted duck with a sweet tomato salsa and a duck risotto wrapped in a wonderful leaf of Swiss chard. Dessert was a perfectly poached pear, stuffed with marscapone and covered in caramel. Amazing dinner and wonderfully informed staff. By the way, the honey macaroons brought to the table with the check were to die for!

This is a must visit for couples. Very nice Atmosphere. Dim lights and candles. Excellence server service. Good selection of food. Food is very fresh and very delicious. Excellent selection of wine.

Best access is from Stuart Street. If you are following directions on trip adviser it will take you to the back of the restaurant and it's easily missed. Go down the Stewart Street (if going from direction from Rwvere hotel) and you will see the restaurant on left sitting in the back. It is on the same intersection as Maggianos.

Ii is in a higher price range but definitely worth it.
