I wanted a place for my family of 5 to stay in the Boston area and finding a hotel that works for a family of 5 is next to impossible. This worked out quite well, giving us space to sleep, beautiful views of the city, and a kitchen to make most of our own meals, all close to the 'T' and in walking distance to many of the Boston sights.
Only drawbacks were that two of the beds had minor issues - parking is not included and the one recommended by Stay Alfred was far away and would have made unloading our stuff very cumbersome. We ended up paying big bucks to park in the facility which made the loading and unloading easier. Other minor issues: sofa bed had a broken cross bar (thankfully my son isn't super-heavy so he didn't really notice), and the queen bed had some rigged supports that made it very creaky.
Other than that, I'd recommend it. Not exactly affordable, but worth the little splurge to experience the city with the convenience of a condo.
