The location was wonderful, great residential neighborhood near prudential center, and the space of a large studio apartment with a kitchen. Complete with stuff for cooking. Rustic feel of the room. This would have gotten them an excellent rating.
Front Desk lacked training and was unresponsive to issues. They want to talk more amongst each other than hear you out. Personable but did not show much interest in service.
Cleanliness was non existent.
Thankfully the bed and beddings was clean, and good towels available as well. Wood floor was dirty and stained. Sofa bed seemed like the fabric was washed in the 80’s. The bathroom floor was cracked and dirty. The inside of the toilet seat had urine stains of yore. The bathtub had stains and hair. Daily cleaning was a farce except for the new towels and toiletries. Closets space was grubby and unsightly. The full mirror collapsed and it took them two days with a heated complaint to at least take out the pieces. Outside window sills had trash. Construction noise was always evident during the day from a room being renovated nearby. The most irritating though was the continuous talk of the workers in Spanish.
Again, the average rating is accounted by the excellent location but brought down by poor cleanliness and ill-trained service staff.

Was good till the end of the trip. Asked if we could get a few hours extension for departure. Was told NO. Which was fine as that happens but then while we were there at the lobby someone called from their room and was given an extension from 11AM to 3PM!
When asked why the difference in attitude we were told ‘ you are lucky you got the room at the price you did’ as if that should ever be a criteria for a late check out.
Bad taste in the mouth.

I am very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience at check-out. Unfortunately, during busy periods we are unable to give an extension past noon because our housekeeping staff has only a short time to turn over all of the apartments for incoming guests. I assure you that this is a policy we apply to all our guests, regardless of the apartment they rented. I spoke to our staff and I believe that there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the other guest, who was not given an extension until 3 PM. I sincerely apologize if it seemed as if there was some preferential treatment given. This was most definitely not the case. Our staff strives hard to accommodate all guest requests equally.

The Copley House was so close to the Prudential Center and the metro. The towels were nice and heavy.
There was a heavy paint smell as they must have been doing some painting somewhere.
It was nice to have a small kitchen.
Great location, clean and comfortable for only 2 people. The pull-out needs a new mattress as it has lost its shape and made for sleepless, back-breaking nights and the bedroom was very tight because of the king bed. Dated!
