Nice apartment, good value and clean in great location. However, it WAS NOT ON WEST NEWTON STREET. Mine was a few minutes walk away, and perfect for where I wanted to be. However, I was unaware of this until I checked in - meant that all my preprinting of directions etc were incorrect, and had arranged to meet up with people in the wrong location - good to find out where you are going to be staying - all my correspondence mentioned West Newton st, and not where I was!

Room Tip: Find out where your apartment is! My apartment was 1st floor over street, quite noisy.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm really happy to hear you loved the value, location and apartment in general. Because we are apartment style, not every apartment is right on West Newton, though each apartment is in its direct vicinity. I am sorry for the miscommunication with that. In the future, we are always happy to help you with directions. Boston can be confusing at times because it's not laid out in a grid like many cities, so we can point you in the right direction or let you know where a good place to meet people is. Hope to see you again some day. All the best — Christian, General Manager

This is not so much a hotel, more a private apartment rental system, which suited us really well: our apartment was clean; superb location in Back Bay. It's difficult to write a review as it was really a private lodging, with no big hotel trappings or attractions, but it allowed us to do some self catering (no cooker) and was very close to Prudential T station, very useful. If you hate big hotels, go for this option

Good location but arrive early and be prepared to haggle your needs as rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis. Our accommodation was confirmed by email as Room 104 Building 239 on the ground floor as requested but on arrival were were given a semi basement room in building 171 a block and a half away. The staff are not very professional and the establishments (4 buildings) seem to be run by a man and a dog! We were offered alternative rooms the next day all were clean but even rougher around the edges. If you cannot do stairs or carry your luggage up stairs do not consider these apartments but try the Holiday Inn Express which has a free shuttle bus to the T subway station and airport.

It's a bit old (it's Boston!), but nice, just a block to Prudential T train, 2 blocks to Trader Joe and Whole Foods, if you want to store drinks, fruit, light breakfast, or even diner since the studio is full equiped with fridge, stove, silverware. It is reasonable price compare with other place around. I booked medium studio, when I came, they are full, so they upgraded me to large one, which is nice, except that it is on 4th floor, and they don't have elevator. They help us carried our luggage up, and down when we check out. The staff are super nice. We left late afternoon, and they let us checked out (left the key) early, but left the luggages at their place, until we came back in the afternoon (who want to drag the luggage around town, or wasting all day long at the bus station?). The only downside is Wifi. It is very weak (most of the time, the network can't see it, once in a while, when it does appeare, it is so weak to be able to connected). I think they don't have it in the building, but only in the office building (and our apt room is a block away). I hope they can fix this, when they do, it'll be a perfect place!

Thanks for the great review! Copley House is under new management as of this year, and we've seen vast improvements across the board so far, but the small kinks are still getting worked out. WiFi included. Next time you're in Boston, I'm confident you'll see we've improved even more and you'll have a 5-star stay. Other than that, it looks like everything was pretty much perfect. We're so lucky to have the convenient location that we do and it's great you found value in that. Looking forward to seeing you again someday. Take care — Christian, General Manager

Location is great: this hotel is very close to most of the main attractions of the city. Our room was very clean and nice. The neighborhood is peaceful and there is a wonderful park close to the street. People at the reception were very kind. We enjoyed our stay so much.

My family and I stayed at the Copley House for 2 nights. It is located in a perfect spot to discover Boston. It is located in a residential street right in the city center. The room was lovely!; newly refurbished with a fully equipped kitchen and very good bathroom, (very bright and comfortable, very convenient with storage and comfortable bed).
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
I would recommend the Copley House to everyone, and if we ever get back to Boston, we would definitively stay there!

We stayed at the Copley House for 2 nights and it was perfect to discover Boston. It is located in a residencial street in one of those little red brick houses right in the city center. it is easy to discover boston by foot from there. they also have a parking which was really helpful to park the car for 2 days. reading below other reviews i was scared to have a bad room but actually it was lovely! it was a little room on the top floor, newly refurbished with a fully equipped kitchen and very good bathroom. very bright and comfortable, very convenient with storage and comfortable bed. there was also a dining table and a great tv system
I really recommend the copley house. it is homy, cosy and i felt home for a couple of days! it was really great!
