We went for a weekend getaway for my husband's birthday. I mentioned this in the booking and got an upgrade in the room and a complimentary slice of birthday cake in the room when we returned from a show and dinner out. Excellent rooms, beds, indoor pool and very nice gym. All the staff was very helpful and courteous. Parking rates are very reasonable for Boston. Easy highway access. Short walk to T-stops. Great experience; will definitely return again!

The hotel was great, but I just want to point out that the beds are the most comfortable I've ever experienced. They should be classified as a drug; go ahead, lay down and the most you'll say is 'good nigh-' before you're asleep.

This is a lovely hotel in the financial district - just a short walk away from quincy market/faneuil hall and the north end.

Check in is always a breeze, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

I have stayed here several times and the rooms are always great. They are spacious with very comfortable bed/pillows. There are pretty city views and the flat screen tv and ipod dock are nice touches. The fogless mirror in the bathroom, makeup mirror, and full size hair dryer are great as well.

I have never eaten at the restaurant however, BOND was a great time - but got crowded pretty early. Also, the chocolates on the pillow are tasty - so i'm sure the chocolate buffet would be superb.

We loved the hotel from check-in to check-out. It's an beautiful building, the staff are dressed to please, and they are attentive to the little details that make the stay grand. We loved the turn down service, complete with a small bottle of water and a chocolate and slippers. We spent alot of time walking in Boston and the slippers were a nice touch to pad our feet at the end of a long day. The concierge was helpful in arranging a nice restaurant for our first wedding anniversary - Mare. The bell hop arranged a taxi for us as needed. We were a short walk from the subway station and on the weekends, the financial district was quiet. We were able to sleep soundly - my husband was grateful for this. Access to free wireless internet would make the value for my dollar even higher. A lovely hotel.

Stayed at Boston in the financial district near the office.
The hotel was clean, rooms were nice, and the breakfast was good.
enjoyed the bond lounge, drinking 18 year old scotch.

Stayed here for my birthday in September - for a weekend getaway. The hotel lobby was beautiful, our room was clean and elegant. It was spacious with a sofa underneath an angled window. The management even sent up a tray of chocolates and sparkling juice for my occasion.

The location was good. Seemed like we were in the business district, which was mostly closed down for the weekend. So we had to walk about 5 minutes (or take a cab) most places - which was no problem in the beautiful weather. Close to the harbor. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the hotel itself. The spa and indoor pool was a fabulous ammenity. The staff at the spa were equally friendly.

My partner and I live in Boston and each year we spend our anniversary
enjoying the delights of the city that we would not necessarily have
time to appreciate otherwise.  This year I decided to surprise him with
tickets to a Bruins game followed by dinner at Menton and a night at the
Langham Hotel.

I work in the Financial District and entertain clients in the
restaurants at the Langham from time to time so I am familiar with the
hotel.  Needless to say I expected a first-class experience and as usual the
Langham and its staff delivered and made our brief overnight visit brilliant.

I booked a two-storey Loft Suite at $615.00 on their website.  The price
was a tad more expensive than our disappointing junior suite experience
at the Fairmont Copley last year, but I feel it was well worth the
premium price tag.  Our suite was beautifully decorated in a classical
elegant style, wonderfully quiet and serene and had everything that one
should expect.  A plush comfortable bed with high-quality linens,
Penhaligons bath products, fluffy towels, large flat screen TVs, yadah,
yadah, yadah.  We appreciated the little unexpected niceties like the
fresh flowers, personal stationary on the desk, scented small pillows for
relaxing next to the bed and trinket box in the master bathroom.

Nice accommodation aside, what makes the Langham special is its
employees.  From the clerks at the reception desk who recognized our
anniversary when we registered and again when we came to checked out to the gents at the Concierge desk who sent sparkling wine with chocolate
covered strawberries to our room, to Cathleen in the spa, everyone we
encountered was pleasant and genuinely cared for our well-being.

For the reasons mentioned, the Langham is easy to recommend to visitors
from out of town, or those from in town like us.

Thank you,
Jason and Ryan
