What can be said about this hotel that hasn't be mentioned by others? Nothing.
But I'll pitch in anyway.

Fantastic customer service from start to finish. The concierge ( Jason Lloyd ) whom we were mainly dealing with was exceptional. Nothing too much trouble for him. We have dealt with many before, but honestly, Jason was one of the best, if not the best.

Location is great. Newbury St., Prudential Centre and Copley Mall all within a 5 min walking distance.

Rooms spotless and well fitted out. (Bose I-Pod dock, LCD TV) nice touch.

If you do stay here, have a "pre-dinner cocktail" in the City Bar just off the lobby. Great way to start the evening.

We stayed here with two of our friends and all four of us were in agreement that we would have no hesitation staying here upon a return visit to Boston.

Well done Lenox. You deserve the No.1 on T/A based on what we were treated to.

We had a corner room with fireplace and king size bed. It was all very nice if a bit ornate. Bathroom was small but comfortable. Water pressure a little wanting. Room tended to be a little warm, but the windows opened easily. Very comfortable bed. Wireless internet was free but slow by most modern standards. In-room breakfast from room service was terrible, on a par with the worst breakfast buffets at X times the price, though the pot of tea was quite good. Staff was very helpful, and the bellmen who made our fire at night were a hoot. Room was clean and housekeeping was attentive. Great area for restaurants, shopping, walking into downtown areas. Not sure I would go back, but it was a fun experience. From reading other reviews, I think we got one of the best rooms.

I travel a lot, usually about 3 months of the year to Asia, US, Middle East. I say that in order to put some context on what follows;

The staff at the Lenox were very welcoming and continued to be helpful at all times, the rooms were always clean and the whole environment was warm & traditional but with a nice mix of the modern (free internet, Ipod docking station, HD TV's) to make it a very satisfactory stay.

The location was superb with all of the major sights within walking distance. Shoppers have Newbury Street and the Prudential and Copley Square malls right on the doorstep.

I will definitely be staying here on my next visit to Boston and can honestly say that this is, Dollar for Dollar, one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in.

My husband and I stayed at the Lenox for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary just before Thanksgiving and our immediate impression was the elegant lobby and how helpful and attentive the front desk and concierge were in helping us with sightseeing options. The service was impeccable, the best we have experienced in any 5 star hotel and the room with the fireplace was also amazing. On our first night the staff kindly left a gift of chocolates and red wine in our room for our anniversary which was a very nice touch and for our last night we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant - Azure. The food and service was equally enjoyable and the crispy pork belly fondue was delicious. Boston is one of our favourite holiday destinations and we highly recommend The Lenox.

The perfect location for a weekend stay in Boston. One block away from Newberry Street, Boston Public Library and Back Bay amenities. Just a block from subway to North End and other points of interest. Concierges Keith and Jason saved our Thanksgiving by arranging transportation for our daughter whose airplane was diverted to another airport. All of this on a holiday! Add 24 hour fitness center, free internet and late night service at the restaurant. We will definitely stay here when visiting Boston.

We stayed for 3 nights over thanksgiving and black friday. The location was great for bars and restaurants, brilliant for shops and the staff could not fo enough. Pete the doorman was excellent giving us a great recommendation for drinks and a restaurant in the North End. Room whilst very traditional in decor (not my preference but after all what you would expect in Boston) was good, very clean, comfy bed etc. Was a bit noisy with street below, ductcarts etc but nothing to annoying. Handy for transport links. Would definitely stay again.

We spent a week at the Lenox hotel while visitng Boston. The staff were very welcoming and attentive at all times. In particular the Concierge were extremely helpful and made lots of recommendations for things to do ensuring we had a trip to remember!

The rooms had all the facilities we needed and the hotel is beautifully decorated throughout.

We'd recommend it to anyone, and go back tomorrow if we could.
