Stayed in this lovely hotel for four nights. We had a Junior Double Double room which was brill. Amazing beds and slept solidly. Hotel is in a great location for just about everything, near transport links (although we found walking in Boston the best way to get around, if a little exhausting), plenty of places for breakfast and other meals. Staff were friendly and couldn't do more for you. As mentioned previously, room service is a little expensive. Would stay here again, and look forward to a return visit to Boston in the future.

All the staff were great - we were upgraded which may cause bias. The desk staff and Concierge (particularly Keith) were unbelievably helpful and polite, making our stay special by arranging tickets for a ball game and great restaurant recommendations. However, the doormen and bellhops were the best I have ever come across - so good our only regret is not tipping them more!!
If you visit Boston, this a a great hotel in a fantastic location, so stay here - you won't be disappointed.
(room service is expensive though)

The Lenox is a gem of a hotel. It is a bit of a walk to Fenway Park but it is a nice walk. All of the shopping in the center of the city is nearby. The restaurant is wonderful and we enjoyed the pub.

I stayed here this past weekend, and had a wonderful stay. Everyone (concierge, bellman, bartender at City Bar, and the housekeeping staff) was fantastic. A top-notch hotel in a great location.

Bedding was fabulous. I have not slept this well in years. The City Bar was great. Our bartender was fabulous. Everyone welcomed us to the hotel, and made sure our stay was perfect. And the location can't be beat. I would definitely stay again. I would not even consider another hotel.

We were in Boston to celebrate my wife's birthday Since this was our first trip to Boston I carefully researched hotels by reading just about every tripadvisor review on top rated Boston hotels. I didn't think any hotel could live up to the incredible reviews written about The Lenox. I was wrong. The Lenox met and even exceeded every expectation we had (and we had high expectations going into this trip). The location is excellent (we walked or rode the T everywhere, even from/to the airport), the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, and the staff is excellent in every way. When they found out that it was my wife's birthday they did everything they could to make her stay special. In her words she felt like a princess. The only downside is the pressure that puts on me now that we're home. I hesitate to mention names for fear I'll leave someone out. Suffice it to say that Dan Donahue, general manager has assembled a top notch staff who understand how to be professional without being pretentious. It's no mistake that The Lenox Hotel is number one in Boston. They certainly deserve it.

Hotel is really nice. It is in a great location, right beside newbury St with lots of great shops and restaurants.
Hotel staff are very nice.
Very near subway.
I got a great deal on this 380 euro for 3 nights which is 550 dollars. I booked through holidaygenie.com.
Good sites are also 1800hotels.ie and travelsupermarket.com.

Room was kept clean. Toiletries were nice and re stocked every day. 2 bottles of water put into the fridge every morning which was also nice.

Hotel bar, Solas was quite good. Good atmosphere.

Overall great hotel and would recommend it to everyone!

We arrived in Boston on a very hot and humid day and it was lovely to be greeted so warmly as we checked in at the Lenox, and to be shown up to our room.

Our corner room on the 10th floor was quiet and well away from the elevator, both of which I had specificially requested. It was a very spacious room with two large windows and a fridge complete with complimentary bottled water, a large desk, a very large chest of drawers, a decent sized table and two comfortable chairs, lots of storage, a flatscreen TV and very nice Aveda toiletries in the bathroom. And black-out curtains, which really did work well. Furnishings were traditional and the two double beds were really comfortable with very nice quality linens. The air conditioning worked extremely well - vital in temperatures into the 90s during our 5 day stay.

Breakfast in Azure and dnner one evening in the Irish pub, Solas, were each delicious and the service was very good. The standard of service throughout the hotel was exemplary - we were very impressed.

The location is excellent - a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Boylston and Newberry Streets and to the shopping malls of Copley Place and the Prudential. Copley 'T' station was just a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel and the trains were air conditioned! A real delight when you're used to uncomfortably hot London tube trains in the UK. Providing you don't have mobility problems you can walk pretty much anywhere in central/downtown Boston without any trouble.

When we return to Boston we'll have no hesitation in staying at The Lenox again.
