best salmon dish ever with a side of lobster mixed with vegetables. I always stay with steak at a steakhouse but this dish is not to be missed.

Stop in herre occasionally for after work drinks with clients and friends. The service is always great, food menu changes and is creative. The bar itself is comfy, good sized stools, the lounge tables are nice as well. Great spot for quick bite and a cocktail or two

On our last visit to Boston, we stopped in for lunch, and vowed to come back for dinner, which we did on this trip. Here is something special about this place: it is filled and staffed by "beautiful people," but their physical appearance is matched by their friendliness and kindness. They are not put off by serving "tourists" but embrace them and seek to enhance their own lives by learning about us as they wow us with their attention. We were greeted by Anna, who was very gracious and understanding of our bit-harried demeanor. We had a tough time getting a cab on a really hot and humid night and were worse for wear. We related our June visit and she was touched that we returned as promised. She seated us in Hector's section, and our server for the evening was just super. A real gentleman (everyone who works in here looks like they could own the place), and guided us through the menu with great detail. My wife choose the Salmon, which was wonderful, I had to get the strip steak, which was really perfectly done and served with asparagus that was out of this world, and the family vegan got a special combination of steamed market vegetables and exotic mushrooms. She loved them. Salads and great bread of course, too.

Hector moved effortlessly through his evening, helping us, another couple and a large family with children who liked to visit other tables. Was he annoyed? Nope, he delighted in the experience, and it turned from something that could have been off-putting to a family night at your local neighborhood favorite spot.

At the conclusion of our dinner, Anna surprised us by telling us that since we had made such an effort to get to the restaurant, she was having the hotel's (XV Beacon) driver give us a ride back to our hotel. How often does that happen? We had a great time talking with Paul as he drove us back to the Boston Harbor Hotel--just another super person. Just class at this place, from top to bottom (and if you want to see a special party room, walk down the steps to the wine reserve room for a place we'd love to have a gathering).

Ridiculously good, perfectly cooked (and large!) beef wellington! The bananas foster was also worth special mention, as is the mac and cheese side dish which was just amazing (in a mac and cheese kind of way). The epic food was rounded out with very attentive and personable staff. Highly recommended.
