I stayed at the hotel for 5 days for a conference. It is a perfect location for a conference at the Hynes Convention Center. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly. It is close to shopping and restaurants. We had a corner room with large windows and a great view. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a shower with double shower heads. There is free wifi in the rooms, but you have to log in from the lobby every 24hours for the free internet which was a little annoying. The location of the hotel is great if you need to be in the back bay, but I would stay closer to downtown if I was doing a lot of sightseeing.

The Hilton Back Bay is a really nice hotel.
Good location in the "Back Bay" area, near the subway station.
The room are big enough, the bed and pillow are very confortable.
The staff was nice and helpfull.
The only "small" problem is the WI-FI : if you want to have internet in your room you have to pay more than 14$ per day! But you can go with your laptop in the buisness center and it's free there. If you don't have a laptop there are 5 computers (with big screens!) in the buisiness center too!
The breakfast is expensive but you can have a "starbucks" coffee and some brownies or cookies in the lobby for cheap prices.
I'll definitely go there again if I'm in Boston!

I stayed at the Boston Back bay for two nights in November; the weather was dreadfu, so New ENgland in the fall, became New England in the fog, for much of my stay. The hotel is on the outer limits of the central down town area, but still quite east to access, walking from Back Bay station. The rooms were large, clean and had good views, the shower was hot and plentiful. WIfi in the room was a scam, but free in reception, though to be honest I always feel that's both pointless and a bit cheap. The reception/bar area was disappointing for an hotel of this calibre, and the gym/spa was very disappointing in terms of its qulaity. For all that I got a great pre booked deal via Trip advisor and vfm for what it is and where it is, I waqs satisfied.

Thank you for your comments. As you mention, free wifi is available on our five terminals or your own laptop in the Starbucks lobby cafe which also features complimentary printing, scanning, copying and faxing as well as a terminal just for boarding passes. The health club was recently completely renovated with all new equipment with individual TV monitors in an enlarged, sun-drenched space adjacent to the pool with locker rooms and a sun deck. Hope we will welcome you back soon.

We stayed here for one night before we took the ferry to Cape Cod, choosing it mainly for its location to the Back Bay so we could see friends (payed $115 on a Thursday which seemed very reasonable). You can also walk to the Common pretty easily and there are tons of restaurants and stores nearby. We were able to check in early and were given the option of a low floor or high floor, so obviously we chose the high floor which was so worth it. Our room overlooked the Charles and you could even see Fenway Park! The king sized bed was so comfortable, and the room was a nicely decorated and a good size. Overall a great stay

I organized a trip to Boston for 20+ docents from the Boise Art Museum to OD on art. I chose the Hilton's Back Bay hotel because of it's location and price. We were there for 5 nights. Everyone was very satisfied wth the rooms. We were close to shopping, many activites, good restaurants and public tranportation. Would definitely stay again!

Thank you for taking the time to write. We were honored to host your group and so glad you enjoyed your stay. Our location does provide easy walking access to the Museum of Fine Art (which just opened an entirely new wing for its Americas Art Collection which is spectacular!) as well as the Gardner Museum which will also be undergoing an addition in the next year or two.

We stayed here on our honeymoon during October, the hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to most things a tourist to the city would want to visit including the Prudential Centre which was literally two minutes walk from the hotel entrance. Smooth check in, our room was a kingsize corner on the 26th floor (the top) and the manager went out of his way to leave us a bottle of champagne on arrival as he knew it was our honeymoon. Lovely large room, clean, no knocks on furniture etc. Amazing views over the city, the room had everything you wanted apart from one, a sofa, it seemed strange to have such a large room with a chaise longe and one desk chair, not good if you want to relax or eat room service etc. Put a sofa in and the room is perfect. There is lots of space for it. Bathroom quite small but very clean. We had breakfast at the hotel which was ok, we had the buffet so cant comment on the individually ordered items, restaurant seemed small for such a large hotel but wasn’t full so no problem. Food we ate was fine. Only one thing was the unusual music playing at breakfast and a very deep bass that made it feel like you were eating next to a nightclub (possibly not music coming from the hotel not sure). Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Boston.

Thank you for your gracious note. We were honored to be your host on such a special occassion and glad your stay was enjoyable and memorable. Sorry about the music during breakfast, must not have changed the selection from the previous night. I agree with the couch comment and is something I am working on actually. Hope to welcome you back for a future anniversary!

Being unfamiliar with Boston, choosing an area in which to stay was sort of a shot in the dark for me. I could not have selected a better location.

The Hynes Convention Center T stop is out the front door to the right, then right on MA Ave about 1.5 blocks. Maybe 3 minutes to walk there. This is a Green Train stop. Very easy to access the theatre district, all the universities, Boston Common.

Hotel was a typical city Hilton. Small triangular floors so never any hall noise. One problem is the HVAC. Very difficult to change temperatures and no option to leave the fan on to cover city noise. No bathroom vent fan either. Other than that a clean, standard hotel room. Nice pillows but the mattress had seen better days. Definitely not a bed to rave about.

Had continental breakfasts in the Diamond Lounge. Nice staff there and at the front desk. Easy to get a taxi even in off hours if you need one. Newberry Street is 2 short blocks away. It is walkable to Boston Common, BU, etc if you want.

I will absolutely choose this hotel again.
