“Eliot Hotel - Boston”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

This is a lovely property - we were upgraded to a deluxe suite (probably due to the construction work that was being done during our stay). That being said, the noise level was minimal. The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff were courteous and helpful. Service at the restaurant was slow but pleasant. Overall a great place to stay in Boston.

Everything about our recent stay at the Eliot was glorious. Having experienced a big snowfall, Boston was virtually shut down. My husband, chocolate lab, and I were warmly welcomed and well cared for. We particularly valued the personal attention, extraordinary breakfasts, and valet parking; (the latter two were included in a winter special.) The service in every area was beyond what one receives in the vast majority of hotels today. We thank you, staff of the Eliot, and cannot wait to return. Our pup, full of energy, also appreciated the interest everyone took in her!

Just stayed here in Feb 2014. This was a shopping trip with a friend, and the Eliot could not have been more conveniently located within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants on Newbury Street. We took advantage of the winter getaway package which included valet parking -- and it was 24-hour parking, so we were able to shop all day even after our checkout and not worry about our car. The rooms are very clean, with lovely, soft linens and a beautiful sitting area. The mini bar was unusually reasonable, and the little touches like the Keurig coffee maker and chocolates on our pillows were much appreciated. Service was impeccable. I will definitely return to the Eliot! By the way, our room had a nice pull-out couch and could easily fit another adult or two small kids.

My husband, daughter, and I were in Boston for Boston College's admitted students day and we spent 2 nights at the Eliot in a King Suite. It was perfect. The location was perfect-very close to the T. The room was perfect-great layout, quite, and beautiful. The staff was perfect-very helpful and happy. I have been to Boston many times and stayed at the Fairmount and Sheraton, but now that I have found the Eliot I will never stay anywhere else.

Great service and accommodations. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Restaurant breakfast was terrific. Really like this hotel a lot. Value is very high and give it my highest recommendation. Definitely worth a try.

The Eliot never disappoints. We return fairly often, most recently in November 2013, looking forward to the enjoyment and relaxation that go with knowing all will be perfect. We love the small size and the attentive, gracious service. The interiors are well designed and immaculately clean.

A suite at the Eliot offers a tremendous amount of space: two substantial rooms separated, should one wish it, by French doors. Separate TVs, comfortable furniture, lovely linens. Understated luxury.

We travel frequently, here in the States, in Europe and in Asia. The Eliot is our favorite hotel. Every stay has been an unalloyed pleasure.

We have stayed here twice in the past 6 months . Always excellent staff, accomodations, and location is second to none. Doorman was attentive and so very pleasant. Only 1-2 blocks to Berklee. Across from Newberry Street with great shops and eateries. Few blocks from Fenway!
