“Excellent update to an established Back Bay hotel”
Reviewed April 3, 2011

I stayed at the Copley Square hotel for three nights and loved the experience. Having stayed at the hotel in its previous incarnation, prior to the recent refurbishment, I can only say that the place has been transformed. It is now very trendy and hip, with excellent decor in the public areas, and very comfortable and well appointed rooms. The service from the young and chic staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel's location just off Copley Square and a block from Boylston Street is good, albeit Huntington Street itself is pretty busy with constant traffic. I had one of the corner suite rooms, and there was plenty of space to work and to relax. Great alternative to some of the pricier boutique hotels which are popping up in the Back Bay neighborhood.

Room Tip: Try an EDGE corner room.

Trip advisor, always gets it right. This is the unmteenth hotel that I booked because of great trip advisor ratings. Copley square is a fantastic newly renovated boutique hotel with so much history. The hotel is classy and the staff goes out of their way for you. It is a smaller location, so no standing in lines like some of the large hotel chains. Everything about the hotel is charming. Since the hotel was built over 100 years ago, the rooms are a little smaller than your average chain hotel, but the stylish furnishings more than make up for it. I loved the down duvet and the comfy pillow top mattress.
The lobby was so welcoming, great place to wind Down. The hotel has a complimentary wine down hour every night at 5 pm, and it's a very classy touch.
This hotel is right on the subway line, near the historic library, and in the middle of it all.

We stayed at the hotel during a recent trip visiting prospective colleges with our 17 year old son. Very nice boutique hotel in great location. Friendly and outgoing staff, nicely decorated spaces. Rooms a bit small, but quiet, and beds very comfortable. Rates much better than Westin or Fairmont across the street. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I stayed at the Copley Square during a huge snowstorm. The hotel staff was amazing. They took fantastic care of everyone, helped with logistics, kept the restaurant open all day so we didn't need to venture out. Hotel rooms were recently renovated and we pretty spacious and very comfortable. The concierge was fantastic, between rental cars, trains, and reservations (when the snow finally stopped!)
they took care of it all! Love the trendy interior and the Mini Bar. Over all this is my go to hotel in Boston for business and pleasure!

I stayed at the Copley Square hotel with 2 friends - we upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite. The decor and amenities are lovely...trendy and stylish. The wine reception is great - and every single member of staff we spoke to were genuine, friendly and helpful. They call themselves "intuition specialists" and it's actually spooky how inuitive they are about your needs/wants in the city. They were happy to recommend places to eat, and make us reservations, as well as give directions, call cabs and organize transport to the airport. It is a real personal service. I felt like a 'guest' rather than just a 'client' staying at the hotel. The beds were great - the bathroom like any big city was small, but sufficient, and the location is great for seeing the city.
100% would return to this hotel. No complaints whatsoever.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Copley Square Hotel for 3 nights in March, and I must say it was a great experience. Like most of the reviews say, the room was fairly small, but definitely not an issue. The Copley Square hotel is in a PERFECT location, basically within walking distance to everything; as well as, two T locations for those looking to take the train (Copley Square stop and the Back Bay stop.) Another perk of the hotel was the free wine hour from 5-6pm; very enjoyable with a good selection of wine considering it is free. Do take into account that the hotel has a club and also a bar in it, which leads to some noise. However, the noise wasn't as issue for us as we enjoyed the bar in the lobby, and our room was on the 6th floor so we didn't head anything when we returned to our room.

We only had 2 small issues with the hotel. First: we felt $43 per night parking was a little extreme, but I assume that is standard for any city hotel parking. Second: we ordered dessert to the room on one night, and almost $40 for 2 pieces of pie and a small coffee was disappointing considering the pie was terrible and coffee below par.

Overall, we had a wonderful time in Boston and at the Copley Square Hotel!
