The Staff, from the front desk, to the concierge, to the cleaning crew...ALWAYS willing to assist and/or answer questions. The location is perfect to walk, grab a cab or hop on a train.
The food was the best, by far! I chose room service over eating out in town...it was that good!

The breakfast in a spacious area on the second floor was fantastic!
It's a good 3 stars hotel but the price a little bit higher that it could be.
Gym is fine, not a large number of people.
It is situated in the harbor and not far from the center.

Across from the Blue line. This hotel is right on the bay, next door to NE Aquir., 2 blocks away from attraction and short walk to North End district. Good restaurants, stuff to do, etc. Highly recommend. China district is a reasonable walk and is next to theaters. Great German restaurant. Also close to Fleet and Commons. You can also catch ferries to P-town right out side the front door. There is a Chop House resturant close by too. This is a really fun place to visit.

The hotel is well located near Faneuil Hall, with a T (subway) stop next door. Service in the lounge, as well as the view of the water, was fabulous, with a genuinely caring staff. We came one evening, just after food was taken away, and instead of simply telling us "sorry", the staff took us in the back and gave us some food. A small gesture, but we experienced this sort of service throughout our stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable - the front desk staff and concierge staff are responsive, and go out of their way to help. The health club is larger than average for a hotel, and has good equipment. Bottom line: there are less expensive hotels in Boston, including Marriotts - and the hotel staff seems to understand that to justify the price, beyond the view, they need to deliver excellent service. In my opinion, they succeed.

Absolute best location! A 2 min walk to the Aquarium and Whale watch, about a 3 min walk to Quincy Market. Right next to the freedom trail. You can walk to the North end to get some Michael's pastries or visit "old iron-sides". You can walk down the wharf and see the harbor or eat at one of my favorite restaurants "the Chart House" which is about 100 yards from the hotel. The horse drawn rides and haunted tours leave from the parking lot. The rooms are nice, probably not the best in Boston, but they are large, clean and have great views. You pay for the location and it is worth it!!!!

We were located on the Northern side of the concierge floor mid way from the elevators to the concierge lounge and had a spectacular view of the Tobin bridge, the harbor, the North End. When we visited the lounge the view of the Harbor and Harbor traffic was fantastic.
Our room was well furnished, the bed comfortable, clean and I only with the bath was larger. We made extensive use of the concierge lounge and found the evening self service bar and appetizers to be well stocked and plentiful while the breakfast was skimpy with small plates.
We also used the services of the concierge and the directions and suggestions were on point and quickly delivered. Our experience with the parking staff and bell staff was also very good and I think despite the cost the valet parking is a must have as it allows you to check out and remain until 6PM day of check out.

Our stay at the Marriott Long Wharf was great! Our room overlooked the harbor and was large and very nice! The staff was outstanding! From the bellmen to the front desk personel and the bar tenders, they all went out of their way to make sure everything was great!
We will always try to stay at this property when we return to Boston. It is close to the North End, and many historical sights. We walked to great restrauants and bars and raved about the location each time.
