after a delayed flight from the U.K. and a rather unfriendly "welcome " from a Boston immigration official, this hotel was a welcome sight. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in in any hotel. Breakfast was very good value, and we had the pool to ourselves early in the morning. Very well situated for all the tourist attractions, would definitely reccommend.

My husband and I stayed at this property for one night while in Boston to see a doctor. We called the Marriott 800 number from our car, booked the room, arrived less than 10 minutes later and checked in.

Front desk very helpful. We were given access to the Concierge Floor even though we were not staying on this particular floor. A great added bonus.

Our room was located on the 35th floor with a prime view of the Prudential Center and other buildings. Room was nicely appointed with new bedding. The bed was super comfy and the room was of good size. Bathroom was updated with a rainfall shower and larger size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash.

The concierge floor is WONDERFUL. The lounge at 3pm when I went in to grab drinks had home made cookies, tea, coffee, and fresh fruit at that time. The selection of complimentary drinks was amazing. Diet pepsi, pepsi, ginger ale, Sierra Mist, bottled water, Red Bull, Snapple Green Iced Tea, and Snapple Diet lemon iced tea. Of course they had the honor bar open as well. When we went up at 6pm they had crab cakes, potato puffs, veggies with dip, crackers and cheese, and a few other things. The best part of that floor was the unbelievable view of the Charles River from the enormous windows. Beautiful. In the evening they were serving brownies, cookies, and truffles. It was a nice touch and more extensive than some of the other Marriott concierge floors in other properties that we have been to.

We ordered room service for dinner and were happy with the food and the price. It wasn't too bad for a hotel in the city. Dinner with salads and soups ran us $60 with a dessert to share. It came within 35 minutes and was better than expected.

There is a Shaws supermarket right directly across the street from this hotel. I ran over there to grab a few items that I had forgotten. If you are looking for snacks or drinks, buy them here and skip the gift shop. It is a very nice market with everything that you could want at a fraction of the price.

This hotel is right at the entrance to the Shops at Copley Place, it is nice to be able to walk out into the mall with all the great shops and then head back to your room.

Finally in the lobby there is a UPS business center that has internet access that costs $5/15 minutes along with other business services.

My only complaint with this hotel is that the hallway on our floor was always dirty - dishes left outside the doors and they remained there for a while. Also, the valet charges $39 a day. I know that parking in Boston is expensive, but that seems a little steep, especially when there is no other option for parking. No self park in the garage or anything. Not a huge deal, but if you are not expecting it, then it can be a surprise.

All in all, I would definitely stay here again. This was not my first time here and it won't be my last. Have fun and request one of the top floors for the best view.

Stayed here for a conference. Got a discount because of it. Room was clean but smaller than I expected. Good central location and lots of shopping nearby. A pain to get into the elevator when lots of people waiting for it. Front desk refunded me days for internet I didn't use with no problems.

Quick one night stay at the Copley Marriott. It's a conference center hotel, but we were there to celebrate our anniversary. The location is very convenient to the Boston Convention center -- and is in the heart of Back Bay. Our room wasn't spacious, but it is a city hotel. The new Marriott beds and linens are very comfortable. Concierge was very helpful in selecting a restaurant for dinner. Would recommend again - although if you're coming to Boston as a tourist I would recommend staying at the Long Wharf or Customs House instead as you'll be closer to the water and many of the tourist attractions the city has to offer.

We arrived on September 2nd and had planned on staying only one night. We had requested early check in so that we could get situated and then get to a Red Sox game we had tickets for. Unfortunately our room was not ready and the game had been moved up from 7pm to 1pm so we had to hustle to Fenway. Upon returning at 5:30 our room still was not ready. For the inconvenience they upgraded us to a suite that had a Murphy Bed - which surprisingly was extremely comfortable. We were on the 34th floor with wonderful views of the Charles River. It was too bad that the weather was lousy. We made a last minute decision to stay two nights and not fly home until Labor Day. JetBlue was able to accomodate our change without fuss and the Marriott let us stay in the same room at the booked rate not the suite rate. I quite enjoyed the covered walkways to the shopping due to the rain and my husband took advantage of the sports bar, Champions, to watch all of his games. We ate at the sushi bar which was very good but went over to Giacomo's in back bay for dinner and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The hotel was very busy due to a conference. We found the bellman to be especially helpful and truly enjoyed our stay.

We flew to Boston on jetBlue. I was able to get a ridiculously low air fare and was impressed with the quality of the aircraft. The hotel is in a lovely location. It is a smart looking hotel. I would definitely recommend it to other visitors who travel to this great city. Overall, we were impressed with this hotel.
The check-in at the Mariott Copely Place was smooth and quick. There was only one mishap during our stay which occurred as soon as we arrived and it involved the elevator service. Just before the elevator reached my floor the inner door opened. The elevator was a foot short of my floor and the outside door was still shut! The bloak I was with tried to pry the door open but it refused to open. This totally freaked him out – We were stuck dangling up 20+ floors and unable to exit and it was upsetting. We were stuck on the elevator for 7-10 minutes while sounding the alarm bell for help. A very helpful security staff member, tried to calm us down as he spoke to us from the other side. Finally the elevator door was able to open. We were told that there was no mechanism to open the outer elevator door from the inside in case of emergency, which remains concerning. The security staff member was sincerely apologetic and sensed how disturbed we were to be stuck. To make up for the traumatic experience he ordered a wine and cheese tray to be sent to our room. In addition, he arranged for us to use the concierge services on the 28th floor, courtesy of the management of Marriott. Without a doubt the view of the Charles River and Back Bay from the upper levels of this hotel is a marvel!

My partner and I decided to priceline a hotel in the city for the night, rather than driving back to the Cape. For $100.00 we were delighted to have been placed at the Marriott Copley. Check in was smooth and quick. We were given a king bedroom, non-smoking, on the 29th floor with a great view. The room was clean, the bathroom was spacious. The new beds from Marriott are tastefully done and very comfortable. This hotel is in a great area and has plenty to offer the most discriminating traveler.
