It was easy to navigate and while it is an art museum, it was great for history buffs also. Tons artifacts from world & american history.

Wear your walking shoes and don't expect to see everything! There is just SO much! A wonderful collection of so many different mediums and styles. I never tire of it!

I am a museum novice and don't particularly care to visit one unless prodded. But I can say the MFA is a masterpiece! Regular admission of $25 per person is a bit steep, especially if you are going with a loved one or friend. We read online that you can get into MFA after 4 p.m. Wednesday (donation suggested.) We gave $10 and it was a steal!
Be prepared, though, to spend LOTS of time here. The museum is vast and varied. There are incredible sights here! Be sure to visit when going to Boston.

Just my luck that the Impressionist galleries were being renovated - however, the reduced selection on display as part of their Boston Loves Impressionism almost made up for it. All in all, an excellent museum for painting - however, Chicago Art Institute still ahead for me...

The visit was overcrowded and not enjoyable. The museum should better monitor how many visitors enter an exhibition.
