The museum is very well set out. Your ticket will cover you for a number of visits during a week.

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is just up the road and is worth a visit.

Beautiful museum, a must see in Boston. TIP: Arrive early and bring quarters so you can use cheaper metered parking if driving. $.25 for 12 min max 4 hrs. A lot cheaper than $18 for 2 hours.

The MFA is a great museum. We sometimes take it for granted but it is actually excellent. And if you like Egyptian history, one of the best in the country. I have been to Egypt, The Louvre, British Museum and the Met in NYC (in no particular order). Great if you can't visit the others and has some unique pieces itself.

The MFA has other items, too! Browse, take a look around, eat in the Cafe, have a Capp. Great time.

This museum is probably the best I've ever seen in my life! The collections they have there are amazing!
You need at least a month to explore everything, but I had a chance to go there only once... And I was more than impressed!
Jewelry collection is my favorite!
