“Great Place to Wander Around”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

Newbury Street is a must see in Boston. Not necessarily the most inexpensive area of town, but it has a great concentration of shops and restaurants to choose from. The Brownstones have the typical Boston charm you'd expect and there are a lot of little hidden gems around.

“Great Shopping For All”
Reviewed December 12, 2013

Assuming that you want to shop, Newbury really does have it all. Big consumer brands like Urban Outfitters, Patagonia, Timberland, Anthropology, Nike, and Zara. Lots of boutique shops too (mostly for women). Great smoke shop / hemp product retailer. Lots of places to eat, drink and be merry.

“Always a pleasure”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

Brownstone type architecture with high end fashion at one end and frozen yogurt at the other. But Boylston which is one block over is also now worth a look. The cross streets go in alphabetical order. There also is a Georgetown Cupcakes from the tv show on Newbury.

“A good walk”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

The area is very nice. If you like to people watch, this is the place you want to be. A great place for shoppers or even just for a nice stroll. My boyfriend and I walked passed on our way to the Fenway mark from the North end and didn't really get a chance to stop by any stores. The environment though was very nice so even if you don't want to shop, it is still a nice stroll

“Colorful cityscape”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

Newbury Street boasts a wonderful streetscape with interesting shop windows, beautiful historic churches, and lots of local color. It has the character of a shopping area like London's Kings Road. You don't have to spend money to enjoy it. This is the best of what makes big cities unique.
