Owner description: Hallowed ground to baseball purists, this cozy, quirky park has been the Boston Red Sox home field since 1912. The most distinctive feature of this classic baseball park is the 37-foot-tall left field wall, known as the "Green Monster."

If you can get tickets for a game when you visit Boston then do go. Not cheap, especially with youngsters who love the merchandise stalls. Take your id as even at 56 I was id'd to buy a beer - no exceptions the sign says! Great atmosphere and occasional mass sing songs, Mexican waves, great conversations with neighbours in the rather snug seating - oh and you might even understand a bit of what's going on on the pitch by the end. Great evening's entertainment and Fenway Park is full of character.

“tour of Fenway”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

Didn't want to pay the price for tickets (120.00 starting), so I took my hubby on the tour. He loved it. Our guide was very informative and you could tell he loved his job.

Every time I go home and see Fenway it brings back so many memories. Awesome place to catch a game! The atmosphere, the fans and the Red Sox are amazing.

“An interesting tour ... but it's not cricket!”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

Well organised, you can turn up on the day and make the next tour, as we did on a busy Sunday (but a day with no game on). An excellent guide (pictured) took us round, although the group size was huge - we managed to hear most of it as we were at the front. Visit included Green Monster, press box and all grandstands, but not behind the scenes / changing rooms, as other stadium tours I've taken include (Anfield, Madison Square Garden).

“Great Ball Park”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

Of course Fenway is small, but so what? That's part of the experience. If you manage a seat that is not bocked by something AND the Red Sox win, you have had the night of your life. P.S. The best sweet Italian sausage sandwiches anywhere are served by vendors there.
