I'm in no way a Red Sox fan. Heck, it's only been a few years now that I actually am warming up to the American League. That being said...if you like baseball and if you appreciate baseball history - you have to go to Fenway Park. Heck, even if you don't like baseball, come to Fenway Park and then tell me what you think of it because I'll bet it will make a fan out of you. It's the ultimate baseball experience. Also, it's a family friendly stadium.
There's something about listening to the national anthem in this stadium that almost brings tears to my eyes. It's just a beautiful baseball experience.
Come early to walk around the stadium and to get the full Yawkey Way experience. Get a Fenway Frank ($5.00) as a snack, but feast on the sausages. Best food seems to be out on Yawkey Way. Go ahead and splurge for the souvenir cup - you get free refills and is really a value at $7.50. Bring your camera and use it and be sure to stand up and sing "Sweet Caroline" in the 8th inning.
Best way to get to the stadium is via the T - the Kenmore stop.
