Loved it! I am a baseball fan, and it was HUGE for me to get to see a game a Fenway Park. It's old, but it's awesome! Great atmosphere, all seats close to the action, lobster rolls! We even had a very easy time getting a cab back to our hotel. Fenway is a must-do for any baseball fan or history buff!

What can I say. Fenway is an institution. Fenway is a family gathering. Fenway is baseball. If you are in Boston and can actually catch a game at Fenway then you really need to stop the world, get off and go! Even if you aren't particularly a baseball fan you are gonna love Fenway. If you are not a Red Sox fan you are gonna love Fenway. It's small for a major league stadium and that makes it the best ever. While I prefer seats in the shaded areas there isn't a bad seat in the house. All because it's small. You can hear the crack of the bat like it's next to your head. If you are like me and have a camera glued to your face then you can really get some world class action shots with just a medium zoom.
The pregame festival going on in Yawkey Way is a must attend part of any visit to Fenway. The smell of green pepper and onion smothered hotdogs and roasted peanuts along with sidewalk bands gives the ballpark a carnival atmosphere. There are sports shops to fill your every Red Sox need. Get your tee shirt on, grab some food and head on up into the stadium. If you are a Red Sox fan and this is your first trip to Fenway the climb up the ramp from the darkened areas of the stadium into the sunshine or night lights is like asscending into Heaven. Suddenly there's home plate and the Green Monster rising up. You want to immediately sing God Bless America. And speaking of singing...the seventh inning stretch and "Sweet Caroline" just make you feel like you have been coming there all your life.
You will find that the local Boston fans are so friendly and nice and just assume that you have been coming to Fenway as long as they have. What an experience. If we are in the area, we don't miss a chance to catch a Red Sox game at Fenway. it's a life changing experience.

Sightlines from many seats are horrible and if you are over 5'10" good luck fitting in the seats! Unless you are in the Green Monster or Right Field Roof seats......which cost a small fortune, if you can get them. Food and drink are so overpriced its not worth mentioning. The overcommercialization of Fenway is kinda sickening at this point.

Between that and the cost to park, I'd prefer to go see a game somewhere else, like Baltimore.

I've been to Fenway Park for many Red Sox Games which are always fun. I can't say the seats are super comfy but that's not why you go their anyway. There is nothing better than hanging out at the ballpark with a beer and fenway frank in the summer. I recently went on a tour of the park, something I've been wanting to do for a while. The price is quite affordable and the tour takes about an hour. You go to the visitor's locker room, Green Monster seats, press room, grandstand seats and along the way you learn quite a bit of Red Sox and baseball trivia. It was a great excursion and I would highly recommend this to any one visiting the area, even if you aren't a Red Sox fan, which I am not!
