Take the subway, easy in and out. Celtics won, what could be better? Fun crowd, always can find a ticket.

Took my son to our first ever Boston Celtics home game at the TD garden. We arrived early and much to our dismay ended up standing in line for 45 minutes until they opened the gates. Fortunately we were inside. Had we arrived 15 minutes later, we'd have been standing outside in the cold (10 degree) weather. All in all, I thought it could have been handled better.

Overall though, it was a once in a lifetime experience. Wish we could go back and see the Celtics more often. Go Celtics!!!

I've been to a number of events here. The Who concert was great, because the few interactions I had with vendors (beer stand) were surprisingly positive. It seems they have improved the staffing, or I got lucky, because in the past, vendors were often largely indifferent. Maybe concert crowds are in a generally better mood.

This is the old Boston Garden renamed by a different sponsor. Home of the Celtics and the Bruins and the site of many concerts. It is always crowded and stuffy - but that is what makes for some of the atmosphere. Seats can be great to terrible - try avoid an obstructed view. Boston fans are rabid and when the Celtics or Bruins are playing expect an experience like you have never seen before (probably the only thing more exciting in Boston is a Red Sox/Yankees Baseball Game). For the concerts, the fans tend to be a bit more civil. The Garden has a lot of history to it and viewing the various Championship Banners hanging from the rafters is a sight that all should experience at least once.
