Owner description: Spend a couple of hours or the whole day at this hands-on museum that has something exciting for everyone. Touch a lizard, watch chickens hatching, see lightning being created and enjoy hundreds of other exhibits, where you can't help but learn something new about science and technology. Hold onto the edge of your seat at the IMAX movie theater, which costs extra.

“Excellent new exhibit at the Museum of Science”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2012

The Museum of Science new exhibit, "Lost Egypt, Ancient Secret, Modern Science" is well worth a visit to view. Full of interactive displays for all ages, the exhibit helps visitors discover and understand how modern science is giving us a window into life in Ancient Egypt. From seeing how the pyramids were built to finding out about mummies, this extensive exhibit is educational and entertaining. Free with museum admission, this would be a great addition to a day at the Museum of Science. Also, don't miss a visit to the Planetarium or the Imax Theatre - recommended movie is To the Arctic, and follows a polar bear family and their struggle to survive.
Always recommened, arrive as early as you can, to avoid crowds.

“Family museum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2012

We were impressed by the museum - it is oriented towards families with children - it represents a super introduction to technology, fossils, learning the basics of technology - and is a lot of fun for they ounger generation. We are grandparents but enjoyed ourselves there.

“A Boston Staple”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2012

Some of the exhibits are so old and unchanged it surprised me. But the Museum is always changing up some exhibits. Good take if you haven't visited before. Make sure to see the Planetarium Show during your visit.

“Entertraining Learning Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2012 via mobile

Boston's MOS is very interesting and entertraining learning experience for the whole family. Very well suited for young kids as well as teens. Contrary to similar museum, food is not bad in the restaurant.

“Plenty of hands on exhibits for young visitors.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2012 via mobile

This my third visit in 6 years. Even though I have enjoyed the museum on each visit, nothing has been updated or changed. Great hands on exhibits for young adults. Definately worth visiting.
