Owner description: The burial ground for famous American patriots like Paul Revere, John Hancock and Sam Adams, is also the final resting place for Mother Goose.

What an exceptional way to experience a bit of the history of the nation and those who shaped it. The forefathers and mothers who are buried here founded this great nation and it was an honor to walk where they are laid to rest. A must see if you are visiting the Boston area. The tombstones are very unique and the inscriptions are well worth stopping in for a bit to browse and read.

Established in 1660 this historic cemetery has over 2,000 markers and contains the graves of Samuel Adams, John Hancock, Robert Treat Paine, Paul Revere, and Benjamin Franklin's parents. It is on the Freedom Trail and worth the trip.

If you are staying downtown and walk the Freedom Trail this is on the route. 4 signers of our Declaration of Independence rest here. And Martha E. (mother) Goose. Thank God our forefathers set this place apart. Love, love, love the walking in Boston.

Another historic stop along the Freedom Trail. There are quite a few famous burials, which make it interesting. The grounds are well kept. Worth the walk-through in memory of those who stood for our country.

you'll like this. Otherwise, not much interest here. Highlights are tombs of Paul Revere, John Hancock and the parents of Ben Franklin. But this was a modest time and the burial markers are hardly works of art.
