A truly historic experience should not be wasted in bad weather. Having grown up in Boston over 45 years ago, I walked by the burial grounds as a kid without a thought. My revisit in November, 2012, was gave me chills, literally and figuratively. Cold and snow is not a time to walk the grounds. Locating graves and reading tombstones is neigh impossible. Don't spend more than 20 minutes there unless you are a historian.
