“The Holiday Pops 2012 show was a must see!”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

I'm never underwhelmed by the Pops. Keith Lockhart and these volunteers consistently shine as one of the hallmark events of the holiday season. I've been going to concerts at Symphony Hall for a decade or more and have never been disappointed. I've seen the holiday show several times and it is a regular stop for my family and friends when they visit at the holidays. You can really tell how hard this group works. We are blessed to have them in Boston!

“Holiday Spirits!!”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

My husband's family has gathered together to take in a matinee performance of the Boston Pops Christmas performances for several years. Each year this performance exceeds the year before. Numbers are performed in conjunction with a guest choir intermingled with strictly musical perfomances provide a truly magical experience. If getting the family together during the holidays is desired, consider doing this at a Boston Pops performance. It certainly will be remembered for a very long time to come. And it is guaranteed to be a good time. Would recommend seats at the tables. A variety of drinks and food are available and can be ordered from the wait staff. Portions have grown smaller in recent years, yet are still fresh and worth the ordering. Besides, you won't want to still be eating during the sing-along!

“Holiday Pops fabulous”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

3 generations and we all loved it. The kids especially enjoyed Santa and the Sing-a-long. We didn't do the box meal but as in the balcony and finished in time for a dinner out.

“Great fun”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

We saw the Holiday Pops this year, and although very poppy Christmas music isn't always my cup of tea, I have to admit it was a fun night! It's really a wonderful orchestra, and of course something special and unique to do in Boston too. If you're visiting from out of town and the Pops are playing, you don't want to miss them!

“nice evening”

We saw the holiday pops! What a nice experience. Very magical! Saw many families there, looks like a tradition for lots of people. I think that is part of the charm. The musical selections are beautiful. It is a wonderful holiday activity!
