Faneuil Hall always has something of a circus or fair atmosphere. You sort of have to go if you are in town...I mean Sam Adams is there, the Black Rose, and all those baloons.
BUT Boston folks don't go there (unless it is to work).

It is a fun tourist place, for sure, though.

this was a marketplace place with great foods to try and wonderful welcoming people with THICK Boston Accents, we just love and can't get enough of. The $20 sweatshirt with Boston and a shamrock that I bought is still in fine condition.

This is the place to go to walk around and pop in and out of the shops. Our favorite was going into the Godiva Chocolate store for a little indulgence. The choices of food in the main building is mind-boggling. There were so many different types of food that it to a while to make up our minds what to get. The smells and sights we music to the eyes and nose.

Lovelyyyyy place! Great food! One of the top MUST SEE places in Boston.... The lighting on the trees is so dramatic it feels like christmas everytime you visit the place. It creates a great ambience overall and the variety of food is a plus..... If in Boston don't ever miss this place!

This should be in the top 5 things to see!! I live one hour outside Boston and head into the city at least 5 times a year. Faneuil Hall aka Quincy Market is my absolute favorite place. I love this history of the building and it has the best food in the city. It's like a food court, but not like the slop found at a standard mall. It's amazing from homemade clam chowder to Greek kabobs, to fudge. I always get a table up on the second floor- it's always packed and you often have to stand and wait for a table but they open up within 5-10 min with people always finishing their meal and leaving. It's nice to just sit for a while after you've eaten and people watch. I wrote a paper about this place for my college English class and it was just about the only paper I ever got an A on!
