“Well organized and pleasant atmosphere”
Reviewed November 26, 2013

I love the library and visit and get books on a regular basis. I dislike the hours it closes way to early on weekends!

“Loved it!”
Reviewed November 26, 2013

My boyfriend lives in Boston, so he and I went on a Saturday when he wanted to do some research on an antique. We unfortunately found out that the reference section he needed was closed on the weekend and he would need to come back during business hours. He works in downtown Boston during business hours. But he and I perused the library and the museum aspects of the library and had a grand old time. It was a cold day when we went and it was nice to sit and enjoy the warmth inside. We will return...maybe on a business day.

The Boston Public Library was a lovely building to visit. I particularly enjoyed the children's library and all the setting! It was beautiful.

“Explore History-For Free!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

The Boston Public Library is the OLDEST public library in the country and is located in Copley Square. It is definitely worth a visit to see the architecture, history, and grand scale of this monumental institution. Definitely worth visiting, and it's FREE!

“Impressive building”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

Impressive building with a great entrance hall. There is a nice courtyard with a fontaine where you can enjoy a drink from the coffee shop. Don‘t miss the reading room on the first floor. There are some nice sealing paintings in the hall way. Besides that, it‘s a public library, free wifi and no entrance fee.
