What an amazing building - wish every city had a library like this! Beautiful architecture, with a cute little courtyard in the centre.

This library is a hidden gem. Take the time to stop in and see this building. We looked around for only about 10 minutes but it was worth it. Wow!

Confirming what others have said, this Library is well worth the visit to see its architecture and treasures inside. We took the free tour given by a volunteer who shared her passion and knowledge about the building - strongly recommend for maximum enjoyment & enlightenment. And it offers a nice quiet place to escape the throngs of other tourists and to rest the mind and feet.

I really have no way to truly rate this library (except that it looks nice and grand from the outside) because they wouldn't let us in with iced coffee or water- whatever! How are you supposed to sit and read anything for a substantial amount of time without getting thirsty and sipping on your favorite beverage- truly disappointing!
