“So Historical”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This building is very cool! You can spend hours inside, they have every book under the sun! The inside is so old and historical. Just walk around and look at the sites.

“One of the top free attractions in Boston”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

Beautiful, historic building in the heart of the Back Bay that always has a special exhibit (Boston sports venues is the current and it's great!). Definitely worth a visit for the building, courtyard and exhibit even if you don't like to wander endlessly through aisles of books (like I do).

Check out the US Congressional Record books and see what congress was talking about on your birthday.

“Nothing can compare”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

The Boston Library is definitely worth a visit. In fact, try to join the free one hour tour offered most days of the week. The tour gives the history of the building's architecture and those responsible for funding the building. The artwork is outstanding. The personnel in the library computer room even allowed us to use a computer for our flight check in and print our boarding passes. Don't miss this gem.
