This is such a beautiful historic building. The map room was fascinating. Loved looking at all the murals and the large collection of books.

We went on a tour of the library. There are so many hidden treasures that are surrounded by books. Try and visit. Stop for lunch or tea. You won’t regret it..

The main branch of the Boston Public Library offers much to see and do. Wi-Fi not working ?, you can always check your email here, in fact the library wisely has a bank of stand up computer terminals for quick email checks.

Devote some time to explore the original building that faces Copley Square. In particular be sure to visit the gallery space on the top floor, there is always a unique and interesting exhibit.

One of the most beautiful looking public libraries I've seen! The locality near the library is quite beautiful and is a must visit in Boston.

I really enjoyed hanging out in this library and spending a bit of quiet time in between shopping on Newbury and planning my evening activities. Not only fun to browse the books, also good people watching.
