What a great park and great day with the family. Liked the weather and landscaping. Disliked nothing.

“Boston Getaway”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

We never tire of coming to Boston. We always enjoy walking through Boston Common.
What surprised us this trip was to still see color.
The temperatures were incredible! There were a lot of people in the park. People were very friendly.
I took a lot of pics.

“Enjoyable green space”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

Visited in Sept 2012. We got of at the subway stop and a short walk took us to a fountain. There were performers near the fountain. There are tables and chairs to sit around the fountain too.
The children's play park was a must have stop for the child in our group. And the frog sculptures were interesting.
There was a Hare Krishna outdoor concert when we were there and had many people viewing that.
This is a lovely, clean park and its nice to have such areas within a City. It's a good place to people watch. There is also free wi-fi.
There is one area near a monument that had people openly smoking pot. We had walked through there and sat for a bit and only then realised what was going on up there when we smelled the pot smoke.

“Very worthwhile”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

Can't miss the Boston Common while in Boston. Why? Because of it's history, the fact that you're in a beatiful setting in a large setting, the public gardens are across a road..... Take some time off if you're a tourist and stroll through both - you'll find it well worth it

“The oldest park in America...and parking below”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

If these trees could talk...we were there on a slightly rainy day which just added to the atmosphere. What a beautiful park. It's a great place to learn about history, start a walking tour of Boston, or just sit and enjoy people watching. Don't miss it while in Boston.
