Owner description: The six glass towers of this striking memorial serve to represent the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust, six main Nazi death camps and the candles on a menorah.

So moving everyone should see it. I thought it was quite moving. The quotes and all the numbers almost made me weep.

It looks so unassuming - just some towers of clear plastic near historic Quincy Market in the new Greenway area.
Then you get close enough to realize what it is, exactly, you are looking at - a listing of the names of the victims of Nazi atrocities during WWII, each name listed in small type but readable, and so many...
A sobering reminder of what can happen when reason sleeps. You will definitely experience a chill as you walk thru tower after tower.

Although is breaks my heart to know that the holocaust occurred, this is a very cool memorial. I believe there are over 6,000 names of those who were killed in the tall glass squares. It is something to visit and reflect on.

We stopped here after a lunch at the Union Oyster House which was right across the street. The etched glass displayed the numbers of all of the victims, names of the concentration camps, and a reminder of our responsibility to remember this tragedy and to speak out against what we know is wrong. Very moving for our entire family of all ages.

This memorial is shocking and disturbing and thought provoking in a positive way. We were walking the freedom trail and noticed 6 towering glass columns. Once we arrived, we noticed the numbers etched on the columns representing the holocaust victims. MUST SEE
