“Best Walking Tour in any City”

I've done this walk over a dozen times and each time you find something unique to learn. I downloaded the app for my ANDROID phone and it was a great supplement to my experience.

“History Enthusiast's Delight”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2012

Visited Boston in early August 2012 and walked the Freedom Trail. Although it was hot that day, the self-guided walking tour was excellent. Took a map, but didn't need it; the trail was so well marked. The South Meeting Hall impressed me the most. The history covered more than information about the Revolution, and was well-presented and highly informative.

“Up Close and Personal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2012

Take a tour or guide yourself..both ways work well. Guide books do a great job and locations are well laid out and in walkable distances.Buildings, etc are well marked. Majority of sites are free.City was very clean. A walk through history that I would do again.

“If in Boston one should walk the freedom trail”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2012

The freedom trail represents the history of this great City. It is a great family take in to teach your children who Paul Revere was and the accomplishment and sacrifice he made to keep us out of harms way.
