“A great place to go with kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

Young and older kids like this place, a lot of places to roam, the boat ride is a nice and scenic trip, a great thing to do on a nice day.

George's Island is a great place to spend a summers day.The ferry over is a nice scenic trip with great views of the city and harbor islands.I have been to island many times since I was a young boy and still enjoy it to this day at 54!

“Historically Interesting”

A fun afternoon but bring food and water! Great place to picnic and wander around. Many buildings and even caught an unexpected reenactment the day I was there

“Definitely do in summer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

I went there on a picnic - its great, huge open well manicured lawn areas - history abounds - really calm and serene and so close to boston. Definitely worth it.

“History comes to life”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

We visited two years ago on board our boat. The history comes to life as you walk around this Revolutionary War Fort. The guides show you the lifestyle of the forts solders and there are drills by reinactors.
