“Not bad given the construction”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

The aquarium was crowded despite now having pre-determined times to go in. I enjoyed the IMAX and some of the exhibits. It was discounted due to construction, but probably would enjoy it more post-construction.

“Can't go wrong with fishies.”

Always a pleasant visit at the Aquarium. The sea lions and penguins are mesmerizing. Great place to spend the afternoon relaxing and watching the fish.

“An experience!”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

The New England Aquarium has a bewildering variety of species on display. The facility is not the most stroller friendly - something that one would have to keep in mind when visiting certain parts of the aquarium! The other downside being that the central tank is still under renovation (that affected the overall visit) and is scheduled to open in summer - that would be an added attraction.

“Great to see the penguins eating”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

I visited here last year, and I felt my money worth, right at penguin's area. There was a feeding session going on and this was the first time I saw how intelligent they behave. Apart from this there were several small pools, with variety of colorful fishes. There was electric eel, generating current. And so many more. They had seals as well.

The main tank goes for three floors and hosts so many different fishes, including ray fish and even shark. And also there is one place where you can touch the star fishes.

I finished it in 2+ hours, and even though I was alone; I enjoyed it.
