We went on a Saturday afternoon while they were doing renovation, not worth the price at all, even with the price discounted to $17.95. They inform you of the renovations and tell you 95% of the animals are still there, but I find that hard to believe.

It was so crowded and lots of strollers and you couldn't see anything and walking around was tough. The large tank is the middle is being renovated (and they do tell you that), it was worth maybe $5 to go inside. You would be best to go when the renovations are completed. With so much to do in Boston, I would highly recommend going someplace else until they finish the construction. I was extremely disappointed. I have been going there for 30 years and this was my worst visit ever!

when your a child the aquarium is the biggest tank in the world as you get older you realize it isnt kinds of pricey for one tank but the facial expression of the kids makes it worth it. alot of new renovations making it fun to go again and see

It is well laid out with high ceilings and changing exhibits. The main fish tank is a visual treat . The big tank is like a complete ecosystem where you can observe all sorts of fish from very big to very small. I mainly like the giant aquarium but the changing exhibits are always great too. There are seal shows which are entertaining for young children. Also very good interactive exhibits for young children. This is a well loved place and the staff really do care about the fish. I always enjoy coming here.

even though it's partly under construction, there's plenty to see and do. touching the rays and small sharks as they race by is the most fun part of the current exhibit. So cool!!

It is a fun visit for everyone – especially families with kids. The price right now is almost 20% lower than usual due to the renovations but it still feels a bit too high as many of the attractions are missing. The highlight for us was the shark and ray touch tank. The penguin exhibit is under renovation so you don’t see them and the sea-lions are in a semi-open area so you can’t really stay for long due to the freezing temperatures. Hence, if you are in Boston only for a visit and you really love the sea it is still a must – otherwise skip or wait until the end of renovations.
