Always a hit with my 3 year old. Can't wait to see the new exhibits currently under renovation. To avoid lines, become a member!

“Giant tank, live animals, fun exhibits and presentations.”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

Take in lots of displays and presentations. Hold your nose, though as the penguins can smell very bad.

“So good but so busy”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

The one and only downside to our visit was that there were renovation works with the large central tank going on which was unfortunate but also meant that they were charging $5 less.

All the displays & weird & wonderfull sealife were excellent & really want to go back once it's all completed

“It's an aquarium”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

My two sons (10 & 7) enjoyed the visit so it was worthwhile, but it does not stand out from other aquariums. However, the touch tank girls in particular and the staff in general were knowledgeable and friendly. We went during construction and received the free IMAX tickets but I would have preferred a discount because everything was in 3-D which makes various members of our family nauseous. I would recommend it if the weather is bad.

“Not bad”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

I visited here last week! The aquarium is under construction so some of the penguins were moved off site and you couldn't see the aquarium that goes through the middle of the building but it was still a good visit. I enjoyed getting to see the sea lions and seals up close! I also liked getting to touch the stingrays in the touch pool...I was there at feeding time. That was neat to watch them all go crazy :)

I also visited the IMAX theatre beside the aquarium. You get a free IMAX movie pass due to construction plus I got the double feature. The first one I saw was Under The Sa (narrated by Jim Carrey) That movie was fantastic! And the 3D effects were pretty awesome too. I stayed for Whales & Dolphins 3D and Sharks 3D. Those were older movies, not bad! The 3D wasn't as good.
