“Visit the ducks and enjoy a coffee in the park!”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

I love urban green spaces. They were doing some tree work while I was there which made it a bit noisy during my visit but I still enjoyed the scenery while grabbing a quick breakfast & coffee.

“Great for Relaxing”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

We visited during the hot spell in July 2013 when temperatures were around 100 F. Despite the extreme temps, it was still relaxing to pick a spot under a tree on the grass and watch the swan boats float along. Scenic, beautiful and relaxing. One of my favorite memories of Boston.

“Beautiful park with a view of the city and some aggressive squirrels!”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

This is a perfect city park, much smaller than Central Park but almost as picturesque! The only reason I'm rating it a 4/5 is that there isn't a lot of signage so we were unsure where we were until we asked someone. But we may have missed it. There's a nice pond, bridge, park benches where aggressive squirrels look for food, and several people enjoying the outdoors while engaged couples take photos there. A nice quiet place to picnic if you're visiting Boston during the warmer months!

“Beautiful”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

A lovely park to wander around. Mrs Mallard and her ducklings a great attraction. The grounds were very clean and well kept. A great place to relax after walking the city.

“Beautiful in the fall”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

Loved the flamenco guitarist on the bridge, the trees with fall colors and the sense of seclusion within the busy city.
